Doctoral Research: Work-Life Integration

Charles Aigbona’s doctoral research is a pioneering, extensive qualitative study designed to establish the role of individual differences on the work-life integration of Gen-Z community pharmacists residing in Lagos State.

This groundbreaking work is the first of its kind, involving the recruitment of over 100 participants and conducting 54 in-depth interviews to capture rich, nuanced data. The impact of this research is already significant, with:

  • Six articles submitted for publication in top academic journals.
  • Two book chapters currently in preparation.

WEEDiFine Project Grant Management

Charles supervised the successful application and execution of a major grant award valued at $43,700.46, fully funded by the Brac Institute of Governance and Development.

  • Project Title: Empowering Women Domestic Workers: Qualitative investigation on the impact of DFS on women’s economic empowerment in Nigeria (the Women’s Economic Empowerment and Digital Finance – WEEDiFine Project).
  • Outcome: All submission deadlines were met, and the final report was successfully delivered.
